Job summary

Micron Memory Gujarat facility seeks a Sr. Gas Engineer to oversee safe, reliable operation of facility gas systems, including cryogenic storage, gas generation and distribution, and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain facility gas generation, storage, and distribution systems.
• Handle LN₂, N₂, CO₂, O₂, CDA, Argon, Hydrogen, Helium, and other specialty gas systems.
• Ensure uninterrupted gas supply to production and facility operations.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of gas systems.
• Monitor gas purity, pressure, flow, and consumption.
• Fix gas system alarms, leaks, and operational issues.
• Support commissioning, qualification, and expansion of gas infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, LOTO, PTW, and hazardous gas handling requirements.
• Maintain operational records, SOPs, calibration, and maintenance documentation.

Purpose

Responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, fixing, and continuous improvement of facility gas systems supporting manufacturing and utility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain facility gas generation, storage, and distribution systems.
• Handle LN₂ (Liquid Nitrogen), N₂ (Nitrogen), CO₂ (Carbon Dioxide), O₂ (Oxygen), CDA (Clean Dry Air), Argon, Hydrogen, Helium, and other specialty gas systems.
• Ensure uninterrupted gas supply to production and facility operations.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of gas systems.
• Monitor gas purity, pressure, flow, and consumption.
• Fix gas system alarms, leaks, and operational issues.
• Support commissioning, qualification, and expansion of gas infrastructure.
