Job summary

AppSierra is seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React on the frontend and NestJS/TypeScript on the backend. You will architect APIs and microservices, work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, and ensure performance, security, and reliability in AWS environments.

Collaboration with Product, Design, and Data teams is essential for delivering high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3+ years in full stack roles.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript for both frontend and backend development.
• Proficient in NestJS (Node.js framework) for building scalable backend APIs.
• Advanced experience with React for building modern, responsive web interfaces.
• Hands-on with PostgreSQL (relational DB) and MongoDB (NoSQL).
• Experience with Kafka for real-time messaging, streaming, and event-driven architecture.
• Solid knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, etc.).
