Job summary

FinOps Weekly in Hyderabad is seeking a Sr. Financial Operations Analyst to strengthen FP&A, reporting, and finance-data translation. You will build scalable dashboards in Power BI, write SQL scripts, and support monthly close with variance analyses across SaaS metrics.

The role emphasizes cloud cost analysis, cross-functional collaboration with Finance, IT, and data stakeholders, and driving data quality across ERP/CRM systems. Hybrid work model in India.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A, finance analytics, or financial data roles within an enterprise SaaS environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, data transformation, and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI, Tableau, or Domo.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS metrics: ARR, bookings, ACV, churn, retention.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve core financial metrics (ARR, bookings, product performance, retention).
  • Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards/reports in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Domo).
  • Support monthly close with variance analysis and clear drivers.
  • Automate consolidation and forecasting using advanced tools and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Improve data governance, metric definitions, and reporting consistency across dashboards.

It combines FP&A support, BI development, and finance-data translation to strengthen core metrics, executive visibility, and planning processes.The position works closely with FP&A, Accounting, Finance leadership, the Sr. Financial Data Analyst, and upstream data stakeholders. It also partners with IT, data engineering, and operational system owners to improve data definitions, structures, and integrity across systems.A key part of the role is building scalable reporting and analysis workflows in Power BI and SQL, with an early emphasis on the accounting function.
