Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking an Associate in Bengaluru to prepare, develop, and analyze financial information to support senior management decisions. You will perform core accounting, contribute to reporting, and collaborate with global stakeholders across divisions.

The role requires 2+ years of accounting experience, proficiency in Oracle Fusion/Hyperion, and excellent Excel and English communication. UK-hours alignment and a focus on process improvement are key.

Qualifications

• Pursuing/completion of a Finance degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong track record in processing core accounting transactions to ensure balances are correctly reflected in the general ledger.
• Hands on experience in Oracle Fusion/Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management systems preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages. Specially in Excel.
• Excellent communication skills in oral & written English.
• Be a lead proponent in driving a collaborative culture to working across finance.
• Adaptable to working in a fast-changing environment to meet business priorities and deadlines.
• Strong process orientation, with ability to design robust reporting frameworks.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with global colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of journal posting reconciliations and intercompany recharges.
• Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations and substantiations.
• Work collaboratively in identification and support of continuous improvement activities.
• Assistance may be required in the preparation of monthly or weekly financial reports.
• Develop and utilize spreadsheets, databases, and other reports.
• Effective interaction with the onshore stake holders.
• Adherence to internal controls as per group policies and the financial control framework.
