Job summary

CorroHealth, Inc. in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Medical Coding Specialist to join our revenue cycle team. You will code inpatient and outpatient encounters using ICD, CPT and HCPC guidelines, ensuring accuracy and timely claims processing.

Applicants should have 1+ year of coding experience, strong knowledge of MDM and E/M guidelines, and familiarity with hospital inpatient and discharge coding. This role offers on-site work in Bengaluru and exposure to a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Coding Experience.
• Strong Knowledge on coding appropriate ICDs, CPTs and HCPC Codes.
• Hands-on Knowledge in CCI edits, LCD, NCD coverage determination etc.
• Strong Knowledge in Medical terminology, Human Anatomy and Physiology
• Strong Knowledge in Hospital initial Inpatient Care, Subsequent inpatient care, Hospital Discharge Day Management and Admission and Discharge same day/ Different day.
• Time based coding and knowledge of 1995 & 1997 documentation guidelines.
• Knowledge on evaluating Medical Decision making for arriving correct E/M codes.
• Inpatient and outpatient CPT coding for procedures and services.

Responsibilities

• Code inpatient and outpatient encounters accurately per guidelines.
• Ensure correct CPT/ICD/HCPC coding and align with client guidelines.
• Maintain quality threshold and meet production targets.
• Utilize CCI edits, LCD and NCD guidelines during coding.
• Support hospital inpatient discharge and admission coding with proper documentation.
