Job summary

Diageo in India’s Kamrup district seeks a Blending & Flavour Engineer to lead food flavour management and re-engineering for packaging operations, ensuring controlled flavour movements and extended shelf life. The role blends science with SAP-enabled processes and cost optimisation.

You will work with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams across sites, coordinating with PnC and Sourcing, driving digitisation of blending formulas, and maintaining quality blends for commercialisation.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Alcohol Technology or Wine Brewing.
• 2–5 years in Distillery/blending.
• SAP familiarity.
• Strong organoleptic sensory skills.
• Blending and data handling skills.
• Personal integrity and congruence.

Responsibilities

• Blend re-engineering and changes as per BLIMP; prepare revised formulations and approvals.
• Liquidate old/non-moving stocks; work out ENA component and blend cost.
• Coordinate with PnC & Sourcing on blend costs; SAP material codes, BOMs.
• Stock-taking of Special Spirits through SAP; reduce manual compilation.
• Drive digitisation of blending formulas and access controls for authorised blending.
