Job summary

CMR Group in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, is seeking a Sr. Executive/AM (Maintenance) to ensure high machine availability for production. You will create maintenance plans, assign tasks to a team of electricians and fitters, manage material requisitions, and oversee service procurement.

The role requires 3–6 years in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing setting. Candidates should have a full-time Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with Hindi and regional language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Full Time) from a reputed institute.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance activities in the manufacturing sector.
• Experience in a similar industry would be preferable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability of machines to the production team.
• Create work orders for maintenance activities per plan and assign to electricians/fitters.
• Create material requisitions and follow up with stores for receipts.
• Generate POs for services and ensure timely service delivery.
• Report daily progress on shutdown/turnaround activities.
• Prepare shutdown/turnaround completion reports to dept heads.
• Ensure timely and safe execution of activities in the central workshop.
• Prepare daily observation reports of maintenance activities.
• Prepare monthly KPI reports and maintenance masters.
