Job summary

You will champion SRE best practices, reduce toil via automation, and partner with product squads to embed reliability into the software delivery lifecycle, incident response, and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong proficiency in programming or scripting (PowerShell, Python) and cloud platforms.
• Experience leading SRE/DevOps efforts with enterprise-scale systems.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly technical SRE Leader to bridge software engineering and operations. You will lead a high-performing team to design, build, and maintain fault-tolerant, scalable, and highly available distributed systems. You will champion SRE best practices, reduce manual operations (toil) via automation, and partner with product development squads to embed reliability into the software delivery lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Reliability Strategy & SLO Management
• Define and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets alongside product teams.
• Establish reliability benchmarks and enforce architectural standards across the enterprise.
• Act as an evangelist for the SRE mindset, driving a proactive rather than reactive operational culture.
• Incident Response & Observability
• Lead cross-team efforts during critical production outages and high‑severity incidents.
• Conduct blameless postmortems to identify root causes and implement systemic preventive measures.
• Optimize observability platforms, telemetry, and distributed tracing to surface actionable alerts without noise
• Automation & Architecture
• Write robust software to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines.
• Spearhead capacity planning, performance tuning, and chaos engineering experiments.
• Build internal developer tooling that accelerates time‑to‑market while strictly controlling operational risk
• Team Leadership & Mentorship
• Mentor and develop SRE staff through continuous technical training and career pathing.
• Foster an inclusive, growth‑oriented engineering culture.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, security, and dev teams to align technical scaling with overarching business goals
• Partner with Product, Security, and Core Engineering teams to align operational goals.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Tech Stack

Experience Level: 15+ yrs

• Education: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Engineering Background: Strong proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands‑on expertise with major cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
• Container Orchestration: Deep experience managing containerized workloads at scale using Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with Terraform or similar orchestration tools.
• Monitoring Tooling: Familiarity with observability stacks (e.g., Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).

Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional leadership skills
