Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or related.
• 8+ years in automotive electronics or quality engineering.
• Strong competence in CAN/LIN diagnostics (UDS/OBD).
• Proficiency in structured problem-solving (8D, Fishbone, FTA) and ASPICE familiarity.
• Working knowledge of ISO 26262 and IPC workmanship controls.

Responsibilities

• Plan and balance workload, priorities, and resources; mentor the team and validate technical findings.
• Establish and coach 8D/FTA/Fishbone discipline; ensure robust containment, root cause verification, and preventive actions.
• Ensure effective use of diagnostics (UDS/DoCAN) and adherence to ASPICE supporting processes in investigation workflows.
• Drive lab readiness (ESD, safety, calibration) and standardization of test methods and reporting.
• Interface with CQE, hardware/software/manufacturing teams and customers; communicate status, risks, and corrective actions.

Working knowledge of functional safety concepts (ISO 26262 awareness) and ESD/IPC workmanship controls.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and planning skills.
