Job summary

TMUS Global Solutions in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced data/ETL engineer to design and optimize commission processing systems. You will build scalable data pipelines using Oracle and AWS, manage RDS environments, and ensure data accuracy through validation and auditing.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL/PLSQL, experience with large-scale batch processing, and familiarity with Azure Data Factory for orchestration. AI tooling experience is a plus.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and optimize commission processing applications using Oracle RDBMS.
• Build and maintain large – scale data acquisition and ingestion pipelines from multiple enterprise sources.
• Develop high – performance data transformation and processing workflows using Oracle and AWS services.
• Engineer and manage Oracle RDS environments on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Leverage AWS services (S3, Lambda, Step Functions, etc.) to enable distributed data processing.
• Utilize Azure Data Factory (ADF) or similar tools for orchestrating data movement and integration of workflows.
• Optimize complex SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, and batch processing jobs for large datasets.
• Implement data validation, reconciliation, and audit mechanisms to ensure accuracy of commission calculations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate commission rules and policies into scalable technical solutions.
• Support end–to–end data lifecycle: ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption.
• Ensure production stability through monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Technology, or related field, plus relevant years of experience in a related technical discipline.
• Hands – on experience with large – scale data processing and batch systems.
• Experience designing and optimizing data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong performance tuning skills (query optimization, indexing, and partitioning).
• Experience working with high – volume transactional or financial systems (e.g., commissions, billing, or revenue systems).

Must Have Skills:

• 7 + years of experience with Oracle RDBMS, including strong SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Hands – on experience with large – scale data processing and batch systems.
• Strong expertise in AWS, including RDS (Oracle), S3, and compute services.
• Experience designing and optimizing data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory (ADF) or similar orchestration tools.
• Strong performance tuning skills (query optimization, indexing, and partitioning).

AI & agent tooling:

• Proficient in AI coding/automation assistants (Claude, Copilot, or equivalent).
• Able to design, build, and deploy AI agents as first‑class platform components - agent‑driven CI/CD workflows, automated runbook execution, vulnerability triage automation, and developer self‑service tooling powered by AI.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with commission systems or incentive compensation platforms.
• Knowledge of event – driven or distributed data architectures.
• Scripting experience (Python, Shell) for automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Exposure to data lakes, data warehousing, or analytics platforms.
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.).
