Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer with expertise in Python and Generative AI to design, build, and deploy cutting‑edge AI applications. The ideal candidate will bridge software engineering and ML/AI, delivering production‑grade components, APIs, pipelines & services that leverage large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval‑Augmented Generation), and vector databases among other technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems in Python that enable Generative AI capabilities (e.g. APIs, microservices, pipelines).
• Integrate LLMs (from OpenAI, Anthropic, HuggingFace, or others) into applications; implement prompt engineering, few‑shot, zero‑shot, or fine‑tuning workflows.
• Build and manage Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems; choose/design vector stores/embeddings, indexing, and efficient retrieval.
• Work with both structured and unstructured data; data collection, preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering.
• Ensure robustness, scalability, and performance: design for high availability, monitoring, logging, observability of AI services.
• Write tests (unit, integration), document designs, follow best practices (code reviews, version control, CI/CD).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as ML/AI research, data engineering, product management, and UX/store owners.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to defining architecture and tech strategy in GenAI space.
• Stay abreast of advances in GenAI / LLMs / open‑source models / emerging tools; evaluate new tools/tech for adoption.
