Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical / Chemical / Automobile Engineering with a Thermal Engineering specialization.
• 6+ years of paint process and simulation experience in automotive OEMs / engineering organizations.
• Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer and CFD concepts.
• Experience handling large CFD datasets and feature extraction from flow fields.
• Proficiency in AI technologies and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocoat thickness prediction, fluid access & drainage studies and oven bake simulation studies.
• Conduct flow behavior analysis for chronic process problems in paint shops.
• Provide and implement continuous process improvement ideas within the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges in CFD and solve them using API-based customization and AI.
• Stay updated on neural networks, multi-physics simulations, surrogate modelling and physics-informed learning techniques.
• Aim for KPI metrics like 100% First Time Quality and 100% On-time delivery.
• Represent paint simulation in forums and technical meetings.
