Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Docker‑based development, build, packaging, and deployment workflows across multiple software projects
- Set up, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for build, test, release, and deployment automation
- Define and enforce best practices for containerization, build reproducibility, release processes, and deployment consistency
- Develop and improve automation for build systems, environment provisioning, deployment workflows, and release validation
- Manage and optimize Docker images, including multi‑stage and multi‑architecture builds, dependency management, image size optimization, portability across target platforms, and runtime efficiency
- Collaborate with development teams to standardize containerized local development and deployment environments
- Participate in peer reviews of solution designs, infrastructure changes, CI/CD workflows, Dockerfiles, and source code
- Contribute to defining and enforcing engineering standards, branching strategies, code quality checks, and release practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to container builds, CI/CD failures, deployment bottlenecks, environment drift, and runtime stability
- Perform performance analysis and support troubleshooting in large‑scale distributed systems
- Improve system stability, security, efficiency, scalability, and operational reliability
- Collaborate across teams to identify delivery risks early and reduce deployment and integration issues
Skills Required:
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, release engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation
- Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows and tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or equivalent
- Strong hands‑on experience with Docker and container‑based software delivery workflows
- Good understanding of Docker image creation, multi‑stage builds, container lifecycle management, networking, volumes, and debugging containerized applications
- Experience building and maintaining multi‑architecture Docker images for different target platforms and deployment environments
- Proficiency with Git and experience with repository management, branching models, merge strategies, and code quality checks
- Experience automating build, release, and deployment pipelines for multiple projects
- Strong debugging skills and experience fixing stability and deployment issues without introducing regressions
- Solid understanding of release engineering, software delivery practices, and environment management
- Experience working with distributed systems and complex software architectures
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and drive technical improvements across projects
Good to have:
- Experience with Docker Compose and/or container orchestration environments
- Experience with Shell scripting, Python, or PowerShell for automation
- Experience designing and implementing Continuous Delivery / DevOps architecture patterns
- Familiarity with Linux‑based systems and shell environments
- Familiarity with ROS‑based systems
- Experience deploying and maintaining software on edge devices such as Jetson Xavier
