Job summary

Radix is seeking a Project Execution professional with exposure to SCADA/PLC/HMI development and commissioning in HVAC/BMS environments. You will lead instrumentation projects, coordinate with clients and ensure timely delivery across multiple locations in India.

The role requires hands-on testing, documentation, and strong knowledge of industrial protocols. You will report to the Deputy Manager, Automation and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BE in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics with basic instrumentation and control loop understanding.
• 4+ years of project or site experience in process instrumentation and industrial automation.
• Experience in PLC programming, DCS and SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of BACNet, LON, Modbus, OPC and other protocols.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects within defined timelines and deliverables.
• Provide site support to the site execution team and coordinate with clients.
• Lead kick-off meetings, URS approvals and FAT activities.
• Develop and test SCADA/ PLC/ HMI software and prepare commissioning packages.
• Test product integration and generate job completion certificates and reports.

2. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Execution

Individual will be responsible for

• Executing projects as per defined timeline
• Provide site support to site execution team
• Coordinating with clients for kick-off meetings, URS approvals, FAT etc.
• Software development and testing of SCADA, PLC, HMI programming ,etc.
• Product testing based on system design
• Jobcompletion certificate and reporting

3. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

KNOWLEDGE

• Strong knowledge of BMS architecture with different types of Operator workstations, Supervisory Controllers ,DDC controllers, Sensors & Actuators etc.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems like Chilled Water System, Cooling Towers, Primary & Secondary pumping systems, Hot Water System, Different types of AHUs, FCUs, VAV systems etc. Experience in engineering, installing and commissioning of HVAC & BMS systems for infrastructure projects like pharmaceuticals, airports, commercial buildings, hospitals
• Knowledge of different types of network protocols like BACNet, LON, Modbus, OPC, and other communication protocols
• Software programming of supervisory and DDC level controllers, prepare test plan, perform simulation and delivering commissioning package to field

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Wincc, FT View, Vijeo Citect SCADA frameworks(Intermediate to high-end level expertise)
• instrumentation in verticals(HVAC, BMS, Process instrumentation)
• Erection, Installation, Testing and Commissioning in Small to Medium sized projects
• Industrial communication Protocols Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP,DNP3.0,Profibus,Profinet,Ethernet/IP etc.
• 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance, GAMP5 regulations
• in the Pharma domain and handled documentation related to IQ/DQ/OQ/PQ protocols.
• Industrial Networking, connecting PLCs, SCADA & HMI in Client- Serveror Redundancy Architecture.
• in Understanding and modifying System Architecture, Panel drawing, Cable Scheduling, Plant Layouts, P&ID
• Well versed with Microsoft office , presentations and ERP. Knowledge of MS Project and Auto CAD will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 4+ years of project orsite experience
• Experience in the field of process instrumentation and Industrial Automation (PLC programming/DCS/SCADA)
