Job summary

CBTS in India is seeking a DevOps engineer to refine, automate, and optimize our software delivery pipelines across multi-tenant and hybrid cloud environments. You will collaborate with development, QA, and IT to ensure reliable and efficient deployment workflows.

The role involves setting up automation tools, managing cloud resources with IaC, configuring CI/CD pipelines with Copado or Jenkins, monitoring performance, and documenting best practices while continuously learning new cloud

Qualifications

• Experience with automation tools such as Copado and Jenkins.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, QA and IT teams to improve delivery processes.
• Knowledge of cloud resources and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the setup and improvement of automation tools such as Copado and Jenkins to streamline development and deployment workflows.
• Work closely with developers, QA, and IT teams to understand day‑to‑day challenges and help improve delivery processes.
• Assist in managing cloud resources and environments used by applications; apply IaC practices to maintain scalable environments.
• Help configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Copado or Jenkins; troubleshoot issues across development, testing and production.
• Monitor system performance using logging/alerting tools and provide initial diagnostics during incidents.
• Explore automation opportunities and contribute to process improvements.
• Continuously learn DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and best practices while documenting them.

1. Role Purpose (1–3 lines):

This role focuses on refining, automating, and optimizing our software development and deployment pipelines. Needs to work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure consistent, reliable, and efficient delivery of software across dedicated, multi‑tenant, and hybrid cloud environments.

2. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the setup and improvement of automation tools such as Copado and Jenkins to streamline development and deployment workflows. Assist in exploring new tools that enhance team efficiency.
• Work closely with developers, QA, and IT teams to understand day‑to‑day challenges and help improve delivery processes. Contribute to smooth communication between operations and development teams.
• Assist in managing cloud resources and environments used by applications. Learn and apply Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices to help maintain scalable and consistent environments.
• Help configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Copado or Jenkins. Support troubleshooting and resolving basic issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Monitor system performance using logging/alerting tools and provide initial diagnostics during incidents.
• Explore automation opportunities and contribute to process improvements where possible.
• Continuously learn DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and best practices while maintaining clear documentation.
