Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to join our Engineering Group, Systems Test Engineering, in Hyderabad. The role focuses on testing camera features, sensors, and image quality, with responsibilities spanning test strategy, planning, and hands-on execution.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering experience (or 1+ year with a Master's/PhD) and familiarity with embedded test environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of Systems Test Engineering experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for camera features and image quality.
• Create and implement test strategies and hands-on test execution.
• Triage, debug, and resolve system-level issues in test embedded environments.

• Detail oriented, thorough and analytical approach required with excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies. Ability to closely work with Internal Test teams and external teams.
• Earlier experience in test automation is a plus - C, Java, Python.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
