Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Quality professional with 7–8 years of hands‑on experience in Solar Inverter manufacturing and testing. The candidate should have strong technical expertise in inverter testing, quality assurance, process quality and manufacturing operations, preferably gained in a well‑established manufacturing environment.

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring product quality, driving process improvements, implementing quality systems and maintaining high standards of product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inverter Testing & Product Quality

• Hands‑on experience in testing of Solar Inverters, including functional, performance and reliability testing.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic testing parameters, testing procedures and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in testing of PCBA, power electronics assemblies and complete inverter systems.
• Troubleshooting and analysis of inverter failures, defects and field complaints.
• Ensure adherence to product specifications and quality standards.

1. Manufacturing & Process Quality

• Strong understanding of Solar Inverter manufacturing processes and production workflows.
• Monitor in‑process quality at various stages of manufacturing and assembly.
• Implement quality checkpoints, inspection plans and process controls.
• Drive defect reduction through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct process audits and ensure compliance with defined manufacturing standards.

1. Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement

• Implement and maintain quality management systems and procedures.
• Drive initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, Poka‑Yoke and continuous improvement.
• Conduct internal process audits and ensure closure of audit observations.
• Monitor quality KPIs such as FPY, rejection rate, rework and customer complaints.
• Prepare and review quality reports, MIS and performance dashboards.

1. Supplier & Customer Quality

• Coordinate with suppliers for incoming quality issues and corrective actions.
• Work closely with Production, R&D, Purchase and Service teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Analyse customer complaints and field failures and ensure effective corrective actions.

Desired Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Solar Inverter testing and manufacturing.
• Understanding of Power Electronics, PCBA and electrical/electronic components.
• Knowledge of testing instruments and electrical measurement equipment.
• Hands‑on experience in failure analysis and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 8D, FMEA, RCA and CAPA.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Candidate Profile

• 7–8 years of relevant experience in Quality within the Inverter / Power Electronics / Electrical Electronics manufacturing industry.
• Must have hands‑on experience in Inverter testing.
• Practical exposure to inverter manufacturing in a structured and good manufacturing environment.
• Should be capable of independently managing quality activities on the shop floor.
• Strong coordination and team management skills.
