Job summary

LPL Financial's Hyderabad Global Capability Center seeks a Senior QA Engineer to define and scale QA strategy across web apps, APIs, and data-intensive systems. You will lead Playwright automation, Behave BDD, and data validation, while integrating tests into CI/CD and cloud-native environments.

You will apply AI-assisted testing and synthetic data techniques, while ensuring robust end-to-end coverage and high-quality releases for enterprise financial platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA experience, with 3+ years in a senior QA role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for web/API automation.
• Proficiency with Behave or similar BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
• Solid SQL skills for data validation, query optimization, and test assertions.
• Experience with Delphix or comparable data virtualization/masking platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in data synthesis / synthetic test data generation for complex datasets.
• Working knowledge of AWS services and cloud-based test environment design.
• Experience applying AI in QA workflows (Copilot-assisted scripting, LLM-based test design).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Playwright-based UI and API automation frameworks.
• Implement and govern Behave (BDD) test suites with reusable step definitions.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with parallel execution.
• Data & Database Testing: Validate data integrity, transformations, and reporting using SQL across relational and warehouse databases.
• Design test strategies for ETL/ELT pipelines, data migrations, and analytics workloads.
• Use Delphix for data virtualization, masking, and provisioning of non-production test environments.
• Build and manage synthetic test data strategies for secure, scalable testing.
• Cloud & AI-Enabled QA: Deploy and manage test infrastructure on AWS; leverage AI tools for test case generation and prioritization.
• Test AI/ML-powered features where applicable (model outputs, data drift, regression scenarios).
