Job summary

LPL Financial Global Capability Center in Hyderabad is seeking an Engineer II Quality Engineer to drive quality, reliability, and performance of our financial technology products for advisors and clients. Qualifications

• 4+ years in software quality assurance in financial services or regulated industry.
• Experience designing, developing, and executing automated tests with Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Proficient in test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, SoapUI).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Strong SQL knowledge and ability to write complex queries for data validation.
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus.

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and identify risks.

• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning to build quality in.
• Contribute to continuous QA process improvements and stay updated on testing trends.
• Document test results, defects, and metrics; report overall quality status.

Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation.Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing principles is a plus.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.ISTQB or other relevant quality assurance certifications are a plus.Preferences:Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or Rest Assured.
