Strudcom Consultants Pvt Ltd, a structural consulting firm, is seeking a Sr. Draftsperson (Steel/RCC/Structures) for its Pune on-site team to prepare detailed GA and reinforcement drawings and fabrication plans.

• Strong proficiency in structural drafting for steel and RCC elements, with the ability to produce detailed GA drawings and reinforcement details.
• Experience using CAD and related design/drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD) and familiarity with standard drawing formats.
• Sound understanding of structural engineering concepts, building codes, and standards relevant to steel and RCC structures.
• Ability to interpret structural design calculations, sketches, and specifications and translate them into accurate, buildable drawings.
• Attention to detail, strong quality-checking skills, and ability to manage multiple drawing packages within project timelines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, project managers, and site personnel.
• Relevant technical qualifications such as ITI or a Diploma in Civil Engineering or Drafting, or equivalent experience in structural drafting.
• Experience in consultancy or construction environments and familiarity with industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects is beneficial.

Role Description

The Sr. Draftsperson (Steel/RCC/Structures) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The role involves preparing detailed structural drawings and fabrication plans for steel and RCC structures using relevant drafting software and standards. Responsibilities include interpreting design inputs from structural engineers, developing general arrangement and reinforcement drawings, and ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with codes. The Sr. Draftsperson will coordinate with engineers and project teams to resolve drawing-related queries, update revisions, and maintain organized documentation. The role also includes checking drawings for quality, supporting site teams with clarifications, and contributing to continuous improvement of drafting practices.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in structural drafting for steel and RCC elements, with the ability to produce detailed GA drawings, reinforcement details, and shop/fabrication drawings.
