Qualification & Experience
- 6-8 years of hands‑on DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience with at least 3+ years in senior or lead roles.
- Proven experience leading teams of 3-5 engineers and driving technical mentorship.
- Expert‑level knowledge of AWS with a deep understanding of core services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, CloudFormation, IAM,etc.).
- Extensive experience leading cloud migrations from GCP, Azure, VMware, or on‑premises to AWS at enterprise scale.
- Advanced proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK with complex module design.
- Deep expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Helm, and GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for building automation tools and frameworks.
- Proven experience architecting enterprise CI/CD pipelines with advanced deployment strategies and automated testing.
- Expert troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex, multi‑system issues in production environments.
- Strong customer‑facing experience including leading technical discussions, managing stakeholder expectations, and delivering presentations.
- Experience creating SOWs, TCO analyses, and technical proposals for enterprise customers.
- Deep understanding of Linux and Windows systems administration at enterprise scale.
- Advanced knowledge of networking including VPC design, VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, load balancing, and DNS.

- Prepare and present technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and migration strategies to C‑level executives and technical stakeholders.
- Manage customer relationships, set expectations, and ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
- Conduct proof‑of‑concept (POC) implementations and technical demonstrations.
- Act as trusted technical advisor for enterprise clients throughout engagement lifecycle.
- Architect and lead end‑to‑end migrations from GCP, Azure, VMware, and on‑premises infrastructure to AWS.
- Design AWS landing zones, multi‑account strategies, VPC architecture, and network topology for enterprise environments.
- Lead complex migration projects including application modernization, database migrations, and infrastructure transformation.
- Use AWS migration tools (Application Migration Service, Database Migration Service, Migration Hub, Server Migration Service) at scale.
- Design and implement disaster recovery strategies including pilot light, warm standby, and multi‑region active‑active architectures.
- Architect solutions following AWS Well‑Architected Framework principles (security, reliability, performance, cost optimization,operational excellence).
- Evaluate and recommend cloud services, tools, and technologies based on business requirements and technical constraints.
DevOps & Infrastructure
- Design and implement enterprise‑grade CI/CD pipelines with advanced deployment strategies (blue‑green, canary, rolling updates).
- Build and manage multi‑cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
- Architect containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and service mesh technologies.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or New Relic.
- Design and implement security controls including IAM policies, network security, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance frameworks.
- Lead cost optimization initiatives, implement FinOps practices, and drive significant cost reductions.
- Architect and implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Design automation frameworks and tooling to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual toil.
- Lead large‑scale projects from planning through execution, managing timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Drive major incident resolution, conduct detailed root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Establish SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for critical systems and ensure high availability (99.9%+ uptime).
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams including development, QA, security, and operations.
- Manage on‑call rotations and escalation procedures for production incidents.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
- Create comprehensive technical documentation including architecture decision records, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams and customers.
- Document lessons learned, best practices, and reusable patterns for migration and infrastructure projects.

Desired Skills & Experience
- AWS Certifications: Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, Migration Specialty, or Security Specialty.
- Additional Certifications: Kubernetes CKA/CKAD, Terraform Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect.
- Multi‑cloud expertise with hands‑on experience in Azure and GCP, including service mapping and migration strategies.
- Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd) and API gateway solutions (Kong, Apigee).
- Advanced database expertise including migration strategies, performance tuning, and backup/recovery for PostgreSQL, MySQL,Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB.
