Job description

Be at the Forefront of the Agentic AI Revolution

At Skan AI, we are pioneering the context engine for human and agentic execution, bringing context from enterprise operators, systems, and processes to power how the world's largest organizations execute their most complex, mission-critical work.

We're in hyper-growth mode at exactly the right moment in history. As enterprises race to adopt agentic AI, we're uniquely positioned to deliver the clear signal they desperately need: a platform that trains and grounds AI Agents in trillions of real execution signals, enabling reliable, compliant automation of their most complex processes.

Backed by Dell Technologies Capital and other leading investors, we're the only company that can bridge the gap between AI's promise and enterprise reality, making us perfectly positioned to define the agentic era for modern enterprises.

Our diverse, collaborative team of 250+ innovators is solving category-defining challenges at the intersection of AI, process intelligence, and enterprise work. Diverse perspectives fuel breakthrough thinking, cross-functional collaboration is the norm, and our work directly transforms how Fortune 500 companies operate. We are shaping the future of work itself.

ROLE SUMMARY

The DevOps Engineer designs, builds, and maintains the CI/CD pipelines, deployment tooling, and infrastructure automation that power Skan's customer delivery operations. Working within the Customer Ops team, this role is the engineering engine behind deployment velocity — ensuring that customer environments are provisioned, upgraded, and maintained reliably, securely, and at pace.

This role sits at the intersection of software engineering and infrastructure operations. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for making deployment a repeatable, automated, and quality-assured activity — eliminating manual overhead, enforcing DevSecOps standards, and giving the wider Customer Ops and Systems Engineering teams the tooling they need to operate efficiently at scale.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

As Skan's enterprise customer base grows, so does the complexity of managing deployments across cloud-hosted, customer-hosted, and hybrid environments. Without dedicated DevOps engineering, deployment activities are manual, inconsistent, and slow — creating delivery risk, increasing the chance of environment-related incidents, and preventing the Customer Ops team from scaling without linear headcount growth.

The DevOps Engineer provides the automation and tooling layer that makes Skan's customer delivery operations scalable, auditable, and professionally run — directly supporting SLA commitments, deployment quality, and time-to-value for enterprise clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for customer environment deployments, upgrades, and patch cycles — covering cloud-hosted and customer-hosted models
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (Terraform, Helm, Ansible)
  • Implement and enforce DevSecOps practices across all product and client deployment pipelines — including security scanning, secrets management, and policy-as-code controls
  • Develop and maintain deployment tooling, scripts, and environment templates that reduce manual effort and improve deployment consistency
  • Support Systems Engineers during new customer environment builds, patch cycles, and major upgrades — providing tooling, automation, and hands‑on assistance
  • Build and maintain ops process tooling: SLA tracking dashboards, deployment status portals, environment health monitors, and internal reporting utilities
  • Maintain deployment metrics and reporting — pipeline success rate, deployment frequency, lead time, and change failure rate — to inform continuous improvement
  • Identify and remediate deployment bottlenecks, pipeline failures, and infrastructure configuration drift across customer environments
  • Collaborate with the SRE team to align infrastructure design with operational monitoring and incident response requirements
  • Participate in change management processes — ensuring all production environment changes are logged, reviewed, and reversible
  • Contribute to the Automation Engineering team's agentic workflow initiatives — developing automation that further reduces operational toil
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for all pipelines, playbooks, and environment configurations
KEY DELIVERABLES
  • CI/CD pipeline designs and live implementations for all customer deployment models — cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid
  • Infrastructure-as-Code templates and reusable deployment playbooks — maintained, versioned, and documented
  • DevSecOps controls documentation and compliance evidence for all customer-facing pipelines
  • Automated environment provisioning and teardown scripts — reducing manual setup time per new customer deployment
  • Deployment metrics dashboard: pipeline success rate, deployment frequency, lead time, and change failure rate — reported monthly
  • Ops tooling: SLA trackers, status portals, and environment health dashboards operational and actively used by Customer Ops teams
  • Target: pipeline success rate ≥ 95%; zero unplanned production outages attributable to deployment tooling failures
