Job summary

Kyndryl in Uttar Pradesh (Dadri) seeks a Senior DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based and on-prem infrastructure, building scalable services and automation. You will implement IaC with Terraform, develop CI/CD pipelines, and automate with Python/Go/Bash, plus manage configuration using Ansible, Chef or Puppet.

The role emphasizes security, compliance, disaster recovery, and incident response, with opportunities to grow toward Architect/ distinguished

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of IT experience with 5+ years in DevOps cloud infra and operations.
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing applications on AWS and other clouds.
• Strong knowledge of landing zones, multi-account strategies, and AWS Well-Architected.

Responsibilities

• Build, package, deploy, and maintain cloud-based and on-prem infrastructure.
• Design scalable, highly available infrastructure services and VPCs.
• Implement IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines for infra deployment.
• Develop automation scripts (Python/Go/Bash/PowerShell) and config management (Ansible/Chef/Puppet).
• Monitor SLAs, perform root-cause analyses, and respond to incidents.
• Ensure security, privacy, PCI, PII, and SOC-2 compliance; participate in disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Build, package, deploy, and maintain cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.
• Design and deploy dynamically scalable, highly available infrastructure services.
• Create and manage virtual networks and connectivity solutions.
• Implement infrastructure automation and migration strategies.
• Performance Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor service level KPIs and SLAs, taking action when not met.
• Conduct performance analysis, optimization, and debugging.
• Plan and manage implementations and outages.
• Respond to, escalation, and resolve incidents, performing root cause analysis.
• Security, Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with security, privacy, PCI, PII, and SOC-2 regulations.
• Monitor and report on compliance programs.
• Implement Policy-as-Code (PaC) frameworks such as OPA or Regula.
• Disaster Recovery & Backup: Develop and maintain continuity and disaster recovery processes.
• Provide backup and recovery support following disaster recovery procedures.
• Perform disaster recovery testing and automation.
• Automation & DevOps: Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

Required Technical & Professional Experience

• 10 -15 Years of Experience on IT, 5+ Years relevant Experience on Devops Engineer Cloud Infrastructure & Operations
• Strong knowledge of cloud provider Landing Zones and hybrid cloud solutions.
• On-premise to cloud migration experience.
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing applications on AWS and other Cloud provider
• Strong knowledge of AWS Landing Zones, multi-account strategy, and AWS Organizations.
• Strong expertise in AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
• System Integration & Database Management
• Experience in one or more programming languages (C#, Java, Node.js).
• Hands-on experience with database services (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Conceptual knowledge of cloud-based data warehouses.
• Monitoring, Compliance & Security
• Strong understanding of IT compliance, security frameworks, and risk management.
• Experience with policy-based infrastructure governance (OPA, Regula).

Preferred Technical & Professional Experience

• Performance tuning for cloud-based applications.
• Experience with system observability and monitoring solutions.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes administration and container orchestration.
• Experience in disaster recovery testing and automation.
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• DevOps Engineer Expert
• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
