Job summary

Genpact in Hyderabad seeks a Sr. Developer - Automation P to lead VBA-based automation across Office apps and SAP, delivering scalable solutions that streamline processes.

You'll design, develop, test, and support automation projects, leverage SAP GUI scripting and SQL basics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving AI-driven environment. Fluency in English required, with day shifts in India and hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, or IT.
• Master's in Software Engineering preferred.
• Strong VBA and Excel automation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support VBA coding in MS Office apps.
• Use Visual Basic in Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.

• Demonstrated project management and time management.

Job Description

• Responsible for VBA Coding/Development/Enhancement/Support
• Use Visual Basic in Microsoft Applications, including Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
• Work with individual responsibility on projects/requests
• Use Advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas and graphing to streamline business processes.
• Ensure best practices and established standards are in use.
• Understand the business, Customer requirements and Service Level Agreements
• Demonstrated project management skills, involving time Management and documentation.
• Experience in SAP GUI Scripting and SAP automation development for streamlining business processes and improving operational efficiency.
• Ability to programmatically manipulate worksheet and create dashboards.
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives, based on project requirements.
• Provide subject matter expertise and quality assurance of projects executed.
• Must possess problem solving skills, debugging skills and be proactive in researching solutions.
• Ensure delivery of projects within timelines with accuracy
• Basic SQL Knowledge
• Python knowledge is added advantage.
