Job summary

Genpact India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Developer - Automation with strong VBA and Excel automation skills to lead automation projects. You will code, enhance, and support automation solutions across Microsoft Office applications and SAP environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with VBA, Excel dashboards, and SAP GUI scripting, with a preference for Python and SQL skills to streamline processes and deliver reliable automation at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Comp Eng/CS/IT).
• Experience with VBA development in MS Office suite.
• SAP GUI scripting and automation experience.
• Strong Excel, formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards knowledge.
• Python and SQL knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for VBA coding, development, enhancement and support.
• Use Visual Basic in MS Office apps (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
• Develop dashboards and automate business processes.
• Understand business requirements and SLAs; deliver on time with quality.

Job Description

• Responsible for VBA Coding/Development/Enhancement/Support
• Use Visual Basic in Microsoft Applications, including Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
• Work with individual responsibility on projects/requests
• Use Advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas and graphing to streamline business processes.
• Ensure best practices and established standards are in use.
• Understand the business, Customer requirements and Service Level Agreements
• Demonstrated project management skills, involving time Management and documentation.
• Experience in SAP GUI Scripting and SAP automation development for streamlining business processes and improving operational efficiency.
• Ability to programmatically manipulate worksheet and create dashboards.
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives, based on project requirements.
• Provide subject matter expertise and quality assurance of projects executed.
• Must possess problem solving skills, debugging skills and be proactive in researching solutions.
• Ensure delivery of projects within timelines with accuracy Basic SQL Knowledge
• Python knowledge is added advantage.
