Job summary

Iquest Management Consultants in Pune, India seeks an experienced AutoCAD plugin developer to design and build custom plugins using ObjectARX, C++, and .NET APIs. The role focuses on automating drawing generation, 3D/2D CAD workflows, and integration with external systems.

The candidate should have 5+ years of hands-on AutoCAD plugin development, strong ObjectARX/ARX SDK skills, and proficiency in C++ and C# for AutoCAD .NET API.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in AutoCAD plugin development.
• Strong expertise in ObjectARX / ARX SDK.
• C++ (advanced) will be added advantage for wrappers.
• .NET Framework / .NET Core, specifically C# for AutoCAD .NET API (Managed .NET API).
• AutoLISP (optional but preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AutoCAD custom plugins and tools using ObjectARX, C++, and .NET APIs.
• Build automation features to streamline drawing generation, auto dimensioning, 3D generation, 3D data review, and custom workflows.
• Integrate AutoCAD with external applications or enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and data exchange mechanisms.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues related to AutoCAD extensions, API usage, and CAD data structures.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document technical designs, coding standards, and best practices.
• Provide support for deployment, testing, and post-release enhancements.

• Integrate AutoCAD with external applications or enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and data exchange mechanisms.

• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Required Technical Skills
