Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Data Admin in India to govern master and transactional data, drive data quality, and support migrations. You will work with DMF, data entities, and core modules such as Finance, SCM, and Manufacturing, ensuring accuracy and security.

The role emphasizes data extraction for reporting with Excel and Power BI, user access control, and collaboration with business stakeholders to maintain reliable analytics. Hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Govern master data (customers, vendors, items, GL accounts) and transactional data (orders, invoices).
• Assist in data migrations by uploading, validating, and reconciling migrated data.
• Identify duplicates and inconsistencies; standardize data quality.
• Manage user access rights and data privacy across the organization.
• Extract and prepare data for reporting using Excel and Power BI.
• Monitor data jobs and resolve failures promptly.
• Provide guidance to business users on data entry and issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management Maintain and govern master data (customers, vendors, items, GL accounts) and transactional data (orders, invoices, etc.), ensuring accuracy and consistency across the system.
• Data Migration Support Assist in implementations and upgrades by uploading, validating, and reconciling migrated data using the Data Management Framework (DMF) and data entities.
• Data Cleanup & Validation Identify duplicates, incorrect entries, and inconsistencies; perform corrections and standardization to maintain high-quality data.
• Data Security & Access Control Manage user access rights, enforce compliance policies, and ensure data privacy across the organization.
• Reporting & Data Extraction Extract and prepare data for reporting and analysis using Excel and Power BI, supporting business decision-making.
• Monitoring Data Jobs Track imports/exports, monitor integration flows, and resolve failed jobs or data errors promptly.
• Business User Support Provide guidance to business users on proper data entry, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

• D365 Knowledge Strong understanding of data entities, DMF, and core modules (Finance, SCM, Manufacturing).
