Job summary

Cognizant seeks a Full Stack JavaScript Developer focused on building AI-powered automation agents for enterprise customers in Bengaluru. You will design and develop TypeScript-based workflows, implement browser automation, integrate AI capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable automation solutions.

Your role involves building agents with TypeScript, automating browser tasks with Puppeteer/Playwright, and ensuring end-to-end automation quality and scalability

Qualifications

• 3+ years of JavaScript experience with strong TypeScript skills.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and HTTP-based interactions.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

Responsibilities

Your day to day responsibilities

• Design build and maintain agents using TypeScript
• Implement browser automation using Puppeteer Playwright or similar tools
• Integrate AI OCR data handling and system level automation into end to end workflows
• Collaborate with business analysts to understand customer requirements
• Debug and troubleshoot complex automation scenarios in real customer environments
• Work closely with product platform and other delivery engineersParticipate in code reviews testing and continuous improvement practices

• You maintain strong engineering standards in design implementation testing and documentation
