Job summary

N Human Resources & Management Systems in Delhi NCR region or Dehradun is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own end-to-end data pipeline design on Azure. The role covers data ingestion, transformation, warehousing, and reporting with exposure to SAP Basis or Oracle DBA considered a plus.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions, ensure data quality and governance, and drive performance improvements across data platforms.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Data Engineering within IT services or related industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Spark, PySpark, and Delta Lake.
• Proficiency in Azure DataFactory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Analysis Services.
• Strong SQL skills (MS SQL) for data modeling, transformation, and performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and Azure Cloud Administration.
• Proficiency in Python for dataengineering and automation tasks.
• Exposure to SAP Basis Administration and/or Oracle Database Administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintains scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Develop and optimize big data processing workflows using Apache Spark and PySpark.
• Build and maintain data models and semantic layers using Azure Analysis Services for reporting and analytics.
• Develop dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI for business stakeholders.
• Write and optimize complex queries in MS SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using Azure DevOps.
• Administer and monitor Azure Cloud infrastructure supporting data platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization across pipelines and platforms.
• (Value-add) Support SAP Basis Administration and Oracle Database Administration tasks where required.
