Job summary

Adani Transmission in Ahmedabad is seeking a senior data analytics professional to lead data management, BI reporting, and transformation pipelines. You will elicit requirements, translate them into data specs, and build scalable data flows.

You will own end-to-end Power BI reports, optimize queries, implement AI/GenAI/RAG pipelines, and mentor junior team members while ensuring reliability and actionable insights for business decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data management with BI experience.
• At least 3+ years as a full stack developer.
• Proficient in SQL, Python and Power BI.

Job description

• Requirement elicitation, understanding the business need and trying to solve the business problem with data as the tool.
• Translating the business requirement into data requirement, understanding limitations of system to design a transformation pipeline
• Work closely on the data, by querying & transforming the data set to make it available to users in required structure and form
• Write complex transformation queries that can be used for process automation & incremental data load
• Use best of query and coding(python) worlds to design efficient transformation logics
• Understand the efficiency factor of query and python and work-around to avoid heavy functions
• Work on end-to-end Power BI reports and dashboard development. Own the admin jobs of Power BI and take necessary actions in case of issues
• Perform data extraction, data transformation, data modelling, maintain data models, reporting systems, dashboards, performance metrics and other leading edge analytical systems that support key business decisions
• Approach problems and issues structurally to find the root cause of the issues in data/processes
• Hands on AI delivery experience across GenAI, Agentic AI and RAG pipelines in complex enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complicated and large amounts of data with business insights
• Overall experience of 7+ years in data management, with minimum 3+ years of experience as full stack developer
• Experience in working with datasets in databases with SQL language
• Strong technical expertise in Power BI-Power Query & DAX, best practices for visualization & developing optimized backend architecture
• Sound knowledge of cloud and related components for data manipulation, transformation etc
• Candidates with expertise in Python coding will be preferred
• Delivery Ownership and mentoring junior team members
• Experience in building AI models, RAG pipelines, Model lifecycle management
