Job summary

Experion Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Data & Analytics Engineer to lead Sigma Computing initiatives with 8+ years in data engineering and BI. You will design interactive Sigma workbooks, optimize Snowflake data models, and drive analytics workflows across onshore/offshore teams.

The role emphasizes deep SQL skills, governance, and security alignment with RBAC/RLS in Snowflake, with immediate onboarding and collaboration across business units to deliver self-service insights.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, BI, or enterprise data warehousing.
• Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience building analytics solutions in Sigma Computing.
• 3+ years working experience with Snowflake (advanced SQL, compute sizing, performance tuning, RBAC, object structures).
• Deep understanding of relational databases, star/snowflake schemas, and analytical data modeling.
• Excellent English communication for collaborating across onshore and offshore teams.
• To adhere to the Information Security Management policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain interactive Sigma workbooks, reports, and dashboards using Sigma's interface.
• Implement and manage semantic layers, control calculations, and build user-friendly data models over Snowflake.
• Design and deploy Sigma Input Tables for safe data writebacks into Snowflake.
• Leverage advanced Sigma capabilities including parameterization, dynamic filtering, and Cortex AI integration.
• Establish Sigma development standards, governance policies, and train non-technical stakeholders on self-service analytics.
• Write, optimize, and tune complex SQL queries executed via push-down compute inside Snowflake.
• Collaborate with data platform teams to optimize Snowflake schemas, views, and materializations for Sigma reporting.
• Ensure seamless security integration by aligning Sigma access with RBAC, RLS, and OAuth definitions.

Expected Date of Onboarding- Immediate Job Purpose (both Onsite / Offshore) We are seeking an experienced Senior Data & Analytics Engineer with 8+ years of total IT experience, specializing heavily in Sigma Computing (3+ years required) alongside strong working knowledge of Snowflake Data Cloud.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex enterprise data warehouses and intuitive business reporting. You will lead the design, development, and optimization of live interactive workbooks, input tables, and custom analytics workflows in Sigma, directly powered by underlying Snowflake architecture.

Job Description / Duties and Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain complex, highly interactive Sigma workbooks, reports, and dashboards using Sigma's spreadsheet-like interface.
• Implement and manage semantic layers, control calculations, and build user-friendly data models directly over Snowflake tables and views.
• Design and deploy operational workflows using Sigma Input Tables to enable safe data writebacks directly into Snowflake.
• Leverage advanced Sigma capabilities include parameterization, dynamic filtering, paginated reporting, and integration with Snowflake Cortex AI / semantic views.
• Establish Sigma development standards, governance policies, and train non-technical stakeholders on self-service analytics

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or enterprise data warehousing.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience building, architecting, and optimizing analytics solutions in Sigma Computing.
• 3+ years of working experience with Snowflake (writing advanced SQL, understanding compute/warehouse sizing, performance tuning, RBAC, and object structure).
• Deep understanding of relational database concepts, star schema/snowflake schema design, and analytical data modelling.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for collaborating across onshore and offshore teams, gathering business requirements, and translating them into technical solutions
