Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional content writing experience.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Content Writer to lead the development of high-quality content across product, technical, marketing, and corporate communication.

This role goes beyond traditional content writing. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on product and technical content, website and marketing communication, proposals and business documentation, social media, and brand messaging while maintaining strong editorial standards across all platforms.

The candidate will work closely with the Marketing, Product, Design, SEO, and Leadership teams and will also be responsible for reviewing content and mentoring junior writers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute content strategies aligned with business objectives, marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand positioning.
• Plan and manage the content calendar across the website, social media, marketing collaterals, product communication, and campaigns.
• Create and manage product descriptions, features, specifications, technical content, and product-related documentation in coordination with technical/product teams.
• Draft professional business content including proposals, warranties, terms & conditions, cover letters, bid/tender documents, presentations, and other corporate communication.
• Create compelling content for website pages, blogs, social media, banners, landing pages, campaigns, and marketing collaterals.
• Review and proofread content for grammar, clarity, tone, consistency, brand alignment, and technical accuracy.
• Establish and maintain content guidelines, templates, style standards, and reusable documentation frameworks.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, customers, and market developments to identify relevant content opportunities.
• Work closely with Marketing and SEO teams to optimize content for visibility, engagement, and performance.
• Develop content for industry awards, events, invitations, promotional campaigns, and other high-impact brand initiatives.
• Track content performance and recommend improvements based on engagement, SEO, and other available metrics.
• Coordinate with Product, Marketing, Design, SEO, and other teams to ensure timely and accurate content delivery.
• Improve content workflows through structured processes, SOPs, templates, version control, and appropriate automation/tools.
• Mentor junior content writers, review their work, provide constructive feedback, and ensure consistency in overall content quality.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional content writing experience, preferably in a B2B, technical, manufacturing, technology, lighting/electrical, or similar industry.
• Excellent command of written English, grammar, editing, and proofreading.
• Strong experience in technical/product content as well as marketing and brand communication.
• Ability to understand technical information and convert it into clear, engaging, customer-friendly content.
• Experience creating business documents such as proposals, presentations, bids/tenders, and corporate communication.
• Good understanding of SEO and digital content best practices.
• Strong research skills with the ability to understand industries, competitors, products, and target audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple content requirements and stakeholders while meeting deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of editorial quality.
• Experience reviewing the work of junior writers or mentoring a content team would be preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while independently owning content deliverables.
