Job summary

OpenText is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Professional Services to lead complex client engagements and enterprise transformation programs. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers while driving delivery excellence and business outcomes.

In this strategic, client-facing role, you will oversee global, cross-functional delivery teams, manage SOWs and SLAs, and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Support to maximize value for global customers.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in enterprise software, cloud services or large-scale programs.
• 5+ years IT services project/program management experience.
• Proven enterprise software implementation experience for global clients.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams across regions.
• Strong SDLC/Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall delivery knowledge.
• Experience with fixed-price, time-and-material, and managed services.
• Excellent governance, risk, and change management skills.
• Experience with SOWs and SLAs; strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple enterprise projects and programs from start to finish.
• Manage cloud, on-premises deployments, migrations, upgrades and transformations.
• Define scope, milestones, timelines, resources and dependencies.
• Drive governance across risks, issues and changes.
• Own project financials: forecasting, revenue, margins and utilization.
• Engage customer executives and key stakeholders as trusted advisor.
• Lead status reviews, steering committees and executive reporting.
• Manage SOW, SLA and change-control processes.
• Lead globally distributed, cross-functional delivery teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Cloud Services, Customer Success and Support.
• Support presales, estimates, proposals and value opportunities.

Your Impact

As a Senior Project Manager – Professional Services, you will lead complex client engagements and enterprise transformation programs, acting as a trusted advisor to customers while driving delivery excellence and business outcomes.

You Will

• Lead multiple enterprise projects and programs from initiation through closure.
• Manage cloud implementations, on-premises deployments, migrations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
• Define scope, milestones, timelines, resources, dependencies, and success criteria.
• Drive governance across risks, issues, dependencies, changes, quality, and escalations.
• Own project financials, including forecasting, revenue, margins, resource planning, and utilization.
• Build strong relationships with customer executives, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
• Lead status reviews, Steering Committees, executive reporting, and business reviews.
• Manage SOW, SLA, contractual commitments, and change-control processes.
• Lead globally distributed, cross-functional delivery teams.
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, Cloud Services, Customer Success, Support, and other internal teams.
• Support presales, estimates, proposals, and opportunities for additional customer value.

What You Need To Succeed

• 8–12+ years of experience in enterprise software, cloud services implementation, or large-scale technology programs.
• Minimum 5 years of IT Services Project/Program Management experience.
• Proven experience managing enterprise software implementation programs for global clients.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams across multiple regions.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery models.
• Experience managing fixed-price, time-and-material, and managed services engagements.
• Strong expertise in project governance, risk and issue management, change management, resource planning, and forecasting.
• Experience with project financials, revenue, margins, commercial contracts, SOWs, and SLAs.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, executive communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence senior customer and internal leadership teams.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, ownership, and customer-centric mindset.
