Job summary

UST is seeking a seasoned Lead I - ML Engineering to drive end-to-end automation for model deployment and operations across Azure, Databricks, and Kubernetes platforms. You will lead CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and infra automation while collaborating with ML and data teams to scale ML solutions.

The role emphasizes security, cost governance, and scalable MLOps practices across cloud-native environments in Bengaluru, India.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Solid Databricks experience with MLflow.
• Experience deploying models on Kubernetes for production.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash/PowerShell for automation.
• Good understanding of cloud security, networking, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD/CT pipelines for ML models using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions/Jenkins.
• Develop and manage deployment workflows for: Databricks Jobs and MLflow models.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform, scripting, and GitOps practices.
• Manage and optimize Databricks workspaces and AKS clusters.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for ML systems and platform reliability.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data engineers, and application teams.
• Ensure security, governance, and cost optimization across MLOps pipelines.

We are looking for a seasoned cloud engineer to support ML development teams and drive end to end automation for model deployment and operations across Azure, Databricks, and Kubernetes platforms

The Opportunity

• Build and maintain CI/CD/CT pipelines for ML models using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions/Jenkins
• Develop and manage deployment workflows for: o Databricks Jobs o MLflow models
• Microservices running on AKS / ARO Automate infrastructure using Terraform, scripting, and GitOps practices
• Manage and optimize Databricks workspaces o AKS clusters
• Networking and model serving environments Implement monitoring, logging, and ing for ML systems and platform reliability
• Collaborate closely with ML engineers, data engineers, and application teams
• Ensure security best practices, governance, and cost optimization across MLOps pipelines

What Are We Looking For

• Strong hands on experience with Azure, AKS, ARO
• Databricks Solid experience with MLflow
