Qualifications

• 4–6 years of cinematography/video production experience, ideally in advertising/marketing.
• Portfolio showing work specifically in social media video content.
• Strong understanding of social-first video content, particularly for Meta platforms.
• Strong technical expertise in camera systems, lenses, lighting, exposure, and visual composition.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar programs.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Senior Cinematographer to join our team. As the Social Media Cinematographer, you will be responsible for the creation of high-quality social media video content to support our digital marketing campaigns for various FMCG & D2C videos.

The ideal person for this role is someone passionate about social media video content with a strong technical background in cinematography.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively plan and execute social media and brand video shoots
• Guide the production team on technical decisions and make on-set calls related to camera, lighting, framing, and execution.
• Operate video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio recording devices
• Collaborate with the brand copy team to develop creative video content that aligns with brand guidelines.
• Manage and organize video files and assets to ensure efficient workflow and easy access for future projects.
• Support editors with video post-production tasks, including color correction, audio mixing, adding graphics or special effects as needed.

Qualifications:

• 4 - 6 years of previous experience in cinematography/video production, ideally at an advertising/marketing agency
• Portfolio showcasing work specifically in social media video content
• Strong understanding of social-first video content, particularly for Meta platforms
• Strong technical expertise in camera systems, lenses, lighting, exposure, and visual composition, with the ability to make informed technical decisions on set.
• Working knowledge of software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar programs.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
