Job summary

Forvia is seeking a Development Engineer to define and develop products and processes that meet quality, cost, and timing targets within an international environment.

You will work closely with engineering teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure technical convergence and feasibility, while managing the Program File in PDM and adhering to FES and PMS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in design and development within an industrial environment, ideally automotive.
• Knowledge and experience in project management processes.

As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and developing products and processes that meet the quality, cost and timing targets of our customers and Group standards. You will work closely with other engineering teams, suppliers and customers to ensure the technical convergence and feasibility of the product design and manufacturing. You will also manage the Program File in Product Data Management (PDM) and follow the Faurecia Excellence System (FES) and Program Management System (PMS) guidelines.

Minimum Education Level

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, Master's degree preferred

Professional Experience

• Experience in Design & Development within an industrial environment, ideally in the automotive industry
• Knowledge and experience in Project Management process
