The Dow Chemical Company in Navi Mumbai seeks a BW Senior Developer to deliver large-scale data warehouse & integration solutions using SAP BW on HANA. You will manage a portfolio of digital solutions across the lifecycle with pragmatic independence.

Eligibility includes at least 5 years in the industry, a IT/CS degree, 4+ years delivering SAP BW BW7.5 on HANA, and 2+ years native HANA (SLT/SDA). SAP BPC and SAP BODS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related Engineering discipline.
• 4+ years delivering SAP BW - BW7.5 on HANA.
• 2+ years delivering native SAP HANA (including SLT, SDA).

About you and this role

As BW Senior Developer, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale, complex data warehouse (HANA) and data integration processes and technologies to help Dow's businesses and functions achieve their objectives and accelerate Dow's digital transformation. As a BW Senior Developer, you are someone who can get things done on your own without supervision and without creating any issues down the road. You are technically mature, having gained experience by delivering both good and bad software in the past and have learned from it — you know how to be pragmatic. Using your SAP BW and SAP HANA conceptual and practical knowledge, you will be responsible for a small portfolio of solutions, managing the lifecycle (analysis, design, implementation/adoption, optimization, and end-of-life retirement) of digital solutions, while delivering advanced functional and business capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver innovative digital solutions.
• Gather and analyze data to perform a functional and technical requirements analysis – with emphasis on experience, simplification, automation, efficiency, and reliability.
• Oversee the development, optimization, implementation, support, and adoption of solutions leveraging best-in-class mobile, web, desktop, cloud technologies.
• Identify opportunities for innovating with digital capabilities aiming to accelerate Dow’s digital transformation.
• End-to-End Integration – Coordinates with other Specialists for end-to-end process optimization and integration.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• A degree discipline in IT, Computer Science, or other Engineering Disciplines.
• A minimum of 4 years delivering solutions with SAP BW - BW 7.5 on HANA V2.0
• A minimum of 2 years delivering solutions with native HANA V2.0 (including SLT, SDA)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 on DB2 is a plus.
• Integration experience SAP BODS is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodology and Design thinking is a plus.
• A minimum of 2 years functional process and data experience with SAP FI and CO is highly desired.
• A minimum of 2 years of SAP BPC experience is mandatory
