You will identify high‑value automation opportunities in lending, credit management, and mortgage operations and translate processes into clear functional requirements. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead process discovery and requirement‑gathering sessions with retail banking stakeholders to identify automation opportunities across loan origination, underwriting, servicing, and collections
• Develop PDDs and SDDs for RPA/BPA use cases in lending and credit workflows
• Conduct as‑is/to‑be process mapping and build process heat maps to prioritize automation candidates by ROI and complexity
• Partner with automation developers to validate solution design against business rules and compliance requirements
• Support UAT, change management, and post‑deployment monitoring for automated banking processes
• Experience working with US/UK banking clients or government adjacent banking programs

Position: Functional Consultant – Retail Banking

Role Overview:

We are looking for an RPA Business Analyst who combines strong process automation skills with hands‑on domain knowledge in Retail Banking particularly lending, credit management, and mortgage operations.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and automation delivery teams, identifying high‑value automation opportunities and translating complex banking processes into clear functional requirements.

Experience:

• 8–12+ years in Process Consulting / Business Analysis / Process Excellence
• Strong experience in Retail Banking (ending, credit management, mortgage experience)
• Hands‑on experience with multiple process modelling techniques
• Proven experience with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
• Strong SOP development and governance experience
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and documentation capabilities

Qualification:

• Bachelor in Engineering/ B.E /B. Tech, MBA or required equivalent. Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory
• Good to have - NIIT/IIBF Certified Banker – Retail Banking or Certificate in Retail Banking (IIBF, India), UiPath Certified RPA Business Analyst, Automation Anywhere Certified Business Analyst, Green/Black Belt in Six Sigma is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead process discovery and requirement‑gathering sessions with retail banking stakeholders to identify automation opportunities across loan origination, underwriting, servicing, and collections
• Develop Process Definition Documents (PDDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs) for RPA/BPA use cases in lending and credit workflows
• Conduct as‑is/to‑be process mapping and build process heat maps to prioritize automation candidates by ROI and complexity
• Partner with automation developers (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar) to validate solution design against business rules and compliance requirements
• Support UAT, change management, and post‑deployment monitoring for automated banking processes
• Experience working with US/UK banking clients or federal/government‑adjacent banking programs

Retail Banking Domain Experience (Required)

• Working knowledge of the end‑to‑end lending lifecycle — origination, credit underwriting, disbursement, servicing, and collections/recovery
• Familiarity with credit management processes including credit risk assessment, credit bureau checks (CIBIL/Experian/Equifax), limit setting, and portfolio monitoring
• Experience with mortgage processes such as loan application processing, property appraisal coordination, title verification, and closing/settlement workflows
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations in retail lending (KYC/AML, fair lending practices, documentation standards)
• Exposure to core banking or LOS (Loan Origination System) platforms such as FIS, Fiserv, Temenos, Finacle, or similar

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Prior experience preparing pitch decks, ROI/business case documents for automation initiatives in banking
• Exposure to Agentic AI or Hyper Automation platforms alongside traditional RPA tools
