Role requires leading Agile ceremonies, creating BRDs/FRDs, and coordinating with cross-functional teams across development, QA, and product management to deliver value.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise apps.
• Strong SDLC and Agile/Scrum knowledge.
• Experience in requirements elicitation, functional analysis and process mapping.
• Ability to work with cross-functional and distributed teams.
• Experience with UAT, regression testing and release planning.

Responsibilities

Sr. Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements gathering, SDLC, Agile methodologies, product delivery, testing, release management, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Own business requirements end-to-end, from requirement gathering and analysis through development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, QA teams, and other cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear functional requirements.
• Facilitate requirement elicitation sessions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, process analysis, and dependency identification for new initiatives and system enhancements.
• Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and other project documentation.
• Work closely with QA teams to define test scenarios, UAT test cases, regression test plans, and acceptance criteria.
• Support defect triage, prioritization, resolution, and tracking throughout the development lifecycle.
• Coordinate and support release planning, deployment activities, smoke testing, and post-release validation.
• Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to resolve production issues and ensure timely delivery.
• Lead and actively facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Daily Stand-ups. Experience leading Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives is preferred but not required.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes, system functionality, and end-user productivity.
• Manage project dependencies, risks, assumptions, constraints, and stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure deliverables are aligned with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in enterprise application/product environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience in requirements elicitation, functional analysis, process mapping, and documentation.
• Strong experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Experience in UAT, regression testing, defect management, and release management.
• Good understanding of SQL and databases for data analysis and validation.
• Hands‑on experience with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Visio, MS Project, and MS Office.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deliverables.
