Job summary

Tetra Pak BSIC in Chakan, Pune, India designs and manufactures processing solutions for the Ice Cream industry worldwide. The role reports to Engineering Manager and is based in Chakan, Pune, with responsibilities across automation design for customer orders and supporting upgrades.

You will develop, maintain and support automation software and hardware, participate in all project phases from sales support to commissioning, and travel domestically and internationally up to 30 days a year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• Must be fluent in English.
• 7–10 years of experience in automation design.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Based in Chakan, Pune, India.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 30 days annually.
• Ability to work across IST, CET, EST time zones.

Responsibilities

• To be able to do automation design in customer orders throughout the order process.
• Development, maintenance and support of automation software and hardware.
• Involvement in all steps of customer projects, from sales support, design, programming, simulation test, workshop test and commissioning support of orders.
• Working on Automation Upgrade Orders
• Collaborate with Tetra Pak common automation platforms to ensure a uniform structure and support to the Field Service team.

Job Summary

Tetra Pak Business Stream Ice Cream (BSIC) develop and manufacture processing solutions, equipment’s and fillers for customers within the Ice Cream industry all over the world. Centers of excellence are located in Denmark, China and India. Tetra Pak Business Stream Ice Cream (BSIC), located in Chakan, Pune designs and manufactures processing solutions for South Asia Markets and also Exports . BSIC Operations Engineering India is looking for Automation Engineer This role will report to Engineering manager and is based in Chakan, Pune.

Required expert knowledge of the general principles of how food products are processed and packaged, the main equipment’s used, the composition, quality aspects and the hygienic requirements for the equipment’s, facilities and operators. Expected good knowledge and experience of the engineering practices, including Plants, process lines, applications and technology to do the design of the Production Solutions. Knowledge and understanding of the engineering practices for the design of food processing machinery, including applied food processing technology, hygienic design, general machine design, testing methods and manufacturing technique.

What you will do

• To be able to do automation design in customer orders throughout the order process.

• You will be involved in all steps of customer projects, from sales support, design, programming, simulation test, workshop test and commissioning support of orders.

We believe you have

• A bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• You must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
• 7-10 years of working experience with automation design.
• Proficient using MS Office software.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• This position will be based in Chakan, Pune India.
• Role involves domestic and international travel, averaging up to 30 days annually.
• Able to work effectively across diverse time zones such as IST, CET, and EST.
