Job summary

Genpact in Hyderabad, Telangana, is seeking a Sr. Associate - Procurement to help develop and execute category-specific sourcing strategies, achieve cost savings, and drive operational efficiency in a fast-moving AI-driven environment.

You will identify and evaluate suppliers, support negotiations, monitor performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement with business objectives. A background in business/industrial/logistics, plus relevant certifications, is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• Master’s degree in Operations Management preferred.
• APICS CPIM, CPP, CPSM, CSCP, or similar certifications preferred.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing category-specific sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
• Identify and evaluate key suppliers, supporting contract negotiations to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor supplier performance, maintaining strong relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and timely delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business requirements and objectives.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of supplier evaluations, contracts, and sourcing activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and category management effectiveness.
