Job summary

Amgen Technology invites a Master Data Analyst to ensure accuracy and integrity of master data across Material, Production, Quality, Customer Transportation, and Plant domains. The role requires SAP ECC/Master Data experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• 4–7 years of experience in SAP ECC, master data management, data governance, or data operations.
• Experience with SAP MDM like Material, PIR, SL, ECN, BOM, Recipe and QM Inspection types.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; familiarity with data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; able to deliver data-driven insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role Description:

The Master Data Team at Amgen will support the accuracy and consistency of master data (Material, Production, Quality, Customer Transportation and/or Plant) across the organization. This role will manage data validation, cleansing, and enrichment while collaborating with teams to resolve issues and ensure data integrity. The analyst will support key performance monitoring, data governance, and compliance efforts, as well as assist in data migration and integration projects. Candidates should have experience in enterprise applications like SAP or Oracle, familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance standards, and strong analytical skills.

Roles Responsibilities:

• Perform data operations tasks, mainly maintenance, and validation, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of master data like Material, PIR, SL, ECN, BOM , Recipe, Production version and QM Inspection plans
• Creation and maintenance (Extension to plant, Sales org, warehouse of Material master data).
• Support process optimization initiatives to improve data management workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
• Provide training and support to partners, customers, and end-users on master data processes, tools, and best practices.
• Maintain data quality reports to monitor performance metrics and ensure data compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business, IT, and operations teams to resolve data-related issues and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline and 4-7 years of experience in SAP ECC, master data management, data governance, or data operations, preferably in the healthcare or biotech supply chains
• Technical Proficiency: Experience in SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and other data management tools (e.g., Informatica, Powe BI).
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze large datasets and deliver actionable insights.
• Problem Solving: Skilled at identifying root causes of data issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy and attention to detail, with a strong focus on data quality.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Hands on experience of SAP MDM like Material, PIR, SL, ECN, BOM , Recipe and QM Inspection types, Inspection plans QM Info records
• Understanding of master data management processes, frameworks, and governance.

• Basic understanding of data governance frameworks and ensuring data accuracy and quality.
• Strong communication skills for presenting data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
