Amgen Hyderabad seeks an Engineering Data Analysis & Reporting Analyst who designs and maintains analytics, dashboards, and KPI frameworks across EHS and EOS. You will partner with engineering, data, and technology teams to deliver scalable, compliant reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, and Fabric.

The Engineering Data Analysis & Reporting Analyst is an individual contributor role responsible for delivering trusted, standardized analytics, reporting, and insights across Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Engineering Operations Services (EOS) domains. This role enables data-driven decision-making by designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards, KPI frameworks, and analytics solutions that provide actionable insights into operational performance, compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Engineering Data analysis and Reporting Lead, this role partners closely with Engineering, EHS, EOS, Master Data Management, Data Engineering, and Technology teams to ensure reporting solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise data and analytics strategies. The role will leverage Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Enterprise Data Lake (EDL), Power BI, and Tableau platforms to integrate data, build reporting solutions, and maintain KPI governance standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related fields. 7–9 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, data visualization, or data management roles. Hands‑on experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and Tableau. Experience developing KPI frameworks, metric definitions, reporting standards, and governance processes. Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple enterprise systems and data sources. Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions. Experience performing data validation, quality assurance, and reporting controls within a regulated environment. Ability to work on site in Hyderabad and collaborate with stakeholders across global time zones when required.
Advanced expertise with Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks analytics environments. Experience building and maintaining KPI registries, metric catalogs, data dictionaries, and reporting governance frameworks. Strong understanding of leading and lagging indicators, operational performance metrics, and risk‑based reporting methodologies. Experience supporting EHS, Engineering, Facilities, Manufacturing, Operations, or Quality business functions. Experience working with EHS platforms such as Cority, Sphera, Enablon, or similar systems. Knowledge of enterprise data governance, master data management, and data quality best practices. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills with the ability to influence without direct authority. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced global environment. Experience supporting continuous improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives. Familiarity with AI‑enabled analytics, predictive reporting, and advanced visualization techniques. Experience working across regions and time zones with global stakeholder teams.
Certifications in Microsoft Power BI, Tableau (Certified Professional), or Databricks (Data Analyst/Data Engineer) are advantageous and considered a plus.
