Amgen India is seeking a Senior Associate Gateway to drive executive reporting KPI design and data governance. You will coordinate enhancements with analytics, data, and tech teams, validate outputs, and enable smooth production rollouts.

Amgen India (AIN)

Gateway is Amgen’s executive reporting platform and the Gateway team plays a pivotal role in enabling consistent, trusted commercial performance data and insights across the organization. This role is part of Amgen's growing analytics capability and works closely with Gateway and US-based Commercial, within Global Customer Capabilities Innovation function to translate business needs into durable data and platform solutions.

As our Senior Associate Gateway, you will be a key contributor to the Gateway operating model, reporting to an assigned BAI AIN manager and working in a dotted-line partnership with the Gateway team. You will independently manage the coordination, validation, documentation, and rollout of changes that keep Gateway and related commercial-data products accurate, current, and useful to brand teams.

Live | What you will do

1. Executive Reporting – KPI and Data Requirements

• Partner with Analytics, Insights, Media, V&A, and other Commercial and Non-Commercial Function stakeholders to propose and finalize KPI design and data requirements for assigned brands and portfolios.
• Maintain cross-portfolio consistency in KPI definitions, source logic, business rules, and data caveats so stakeholders can rely on comparable Executive Reporting outputs.

2. Enhancement Delivery and Validation

• Coordinate Reporting enhancements with vendors and internal data and technology teams, translate requirements into clear delivery plans, manage dependencies and timelines, and communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.
• Perform validation after enhancements are completed, facilitate Analytics and source-team Business UAT sign-off, and ensure approved changes are ready for production rollout.

3. Operational Readiness and Documentation

• Roll out approved changes using disciplined change-management practices and maintain complete, current documentation of KPI definitions, methods, requirements, decisions, and process changes.
• Support knowledge transfer across the India, Portugal and US teams, creating clear handoffs that enable consistent use, maintenance, and interpretation of Reporting capabilities.

4. Platform Quality and Weekly Refreshes

• Validate weekly Reporting platform refreshes against Analytics/Business reports and expected business outputs, identifying data-quality issues, deviations, and emerging risks promptly.
• Coordinate investigation and resolution with internal Business Analytics, Data, Technology and other source teams; document root causes, decisions, and corrective actions to improve reliability and reproducibility.

5. Brand Integration and Team Culture

• Actively participate in assigned brand Business cross-functional meetings to stay current on strategy and operational changes that may affect Reporting, including field-force changes, Primary Market Research and Insights metric-frequency updates, and evolving business processes.
• Translate business changes into clear Reporting impacts, requirements, and stakeholder actions while bringing an objective, data-driven perspective to discussions.
• Apply SQL, Excel, Python, Tableau, and cloud data services to support analysis, validation, automation, and productization that reduce manual effort and speed delivery.
• Ensure all work adheres to applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance SOPs, and embody curiosity, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement across the teams.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3-6 years or Master's degree with 2-4 years of experience in commercial analytics, sales and marketing operations, data enablement, or related analytics and project-delivery roles.
• Strong SQL, Excel, and Python skills, with working knowledge of Tableau and cloud data services such as AWS and Databricks; able to perform data validation, analysis, and automation with accuracy and rigor.
• Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration and project-management experience, including stakeholder management, requirements definition, timeline coordination, UAT support, and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with US commercial pharma data sources, commercial KPIs, and the strengths and limitations of different analytical approaches
• Demonstrated ownership of operational delivery across technical and business teams, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and develop practical contingencies
• Experience with data-quality management, platform or product enhancement delivery, and production reporting, dashboarding, or data-pipeline validation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey clear, concise narratives, decisions, risks, and next steps to diverse stakeholders
• Comfort working in an evolving environment that requires independent problem solving, structured coordination, knowledge transfer, and a continuous-improvement mindset
