Role Description

This role will be in the Amgen Global Supply Chain Analytics team as a key contributor in translating business needs into analytics and technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a technology-driven industry. The role requires domain and business process expertise to detail product requirements as epics and user stories, along with supporting artifacts like business process maps, use cases, and test plans. This person will be involved in evaluating business requirements as fit and gaps, converting the fits and gaps into tangible user requirements, working with stakeholders on gating approvals, defining acceptance criteria, and assisting in developing a robust solution while working in a product team. The candidate should be a self-starter and have a strong passion for fostering innovation and excellence in the biotechnology industry.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work with Data & Analytics Product team and customers to define scope and value for new developments and translating into clear fit gat analysis
• Write actionable user requirements and define user acceptance strategies for configurations, design and implementation in analytical systems
• Work with business stakeholders for gating approvals, conduct roadshows, evaluation of requirements as fit & gap analysis
• Collaborate with System Architects and Product Managers to manage business analysis activities, ensuring alignment with analytics functions
• Capture the voice of the customer to define business processes and product needs
• Develop and execute effective product demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and changes in solution documentation, workflows, and system configurations to ensure comprehensive understanding and facilitate knowledge transfer
• Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams, including those in the US and other international locations
• Be a part of an Agile project team utilizing the Agile / Scrum methodologies, working in a fast-paced, iterative environment, closely partnering with business stakeholders
• Partner with Scrum Master, Product Owner and the team in defining Technical User Stories, partners with Product Owner to identify and prioritize enabler work

Basic Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s degree and 5 to 8 years of experience in Supply Chain Technology, Supply Chain Business, Engineering, IT or related field
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 to 8 years of experience in Supply Chain Technology, Supply Chain Business, Engineering, IT or related field
• Diploma and 5 to 8 years of experience in Supply Chain Technology, Supply Chain Business, Engineering, IT or related field

Functional Skills

Must-Have Skills

• Strong understanding of business analysis fundamentals, user story writing, and backlog grooming.
• Exposure to data pipelines, reporting logic, and metric definitions, ideally in a supply chain or operational context.
• Experience working with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile collaboration platforms.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (SQL, Excel) and familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to work across both business and technical teams.
• Knowledge of sprint-based planning and estimations required for implementation

Good-to-Have Skills

• Health Cloud and Lifesciences Cloud hands on experience
