Job summary

Standard Chartered India is seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead agile delivery for retail banking initiatives in Chennai. You will guide Scrum teams, coordinate offshore and onshore, and ensure timely risk mitigation and quality.

The role requires deep expertise in workflow systems, Java/JEE stack, RESTful services, and strong communication to manage stakeholders and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Very good understanding and working experience on workflow delivery systems
• Deep experience on retail TP systems (ex: eBBS, RLS)
• Very good understanding and working experience on RDMS (ex: oracle, postgress)
• Hands on experience on low code / no code platform
• Basic knowledge on java and RDBMS
• Understand user requirements and solution architecture
• Technically hands on in software projects through all stages of the life cycle, including responsibility towards understanding and capturing requirements, design, development and acceptance testing
• Manage the interface teams from service spec understanding to implementation
• Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.
• Perform coding / code review in line with existing architecture boundaries, use best practices and coding standards
• Responsible for meeting overall delivery schedules
• Co-ordinate with the teams to resolve issues (thru clarification, data fixes and program fixes following required process) in development & test environments
• Participate UAT calls and provides stake holders clarifications
• Support production rollouts and change implementations followed by successful UVT
• Participate daily scrum meetings and track tasks via scrum tools (ex ADO , JIRA)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Education: MCA OR BE OR ME
