Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a Finance & Data Analyst to collaborate with Group and regional Finance teams, Product Control, and Data SMEs. You will gather requirements, own BRD/FSD artifacts, and guide governance from conception to post-implementation review.

You will work with Dev, Testing, Release, and PMO teams to ensure timely deliveries. The role requires strong data analysis, SQL skills, and knowledge of SDLC, with experience in regulatory and financial data contexts.

Qualifications

  • Graduation in Finance / MBA / CA
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in Product Control / Finance / Change Management
  • Experience with vendor application SAP Master Data Governance
  • Exposure to ETL tools, Data Sourcing, Data Quality (Cleansing, aggregation & enrichment), Data modelling & design, Data Transformation & integration
  • Good understanding of reference data transformation, critical data elements, DQMF, BCBS239 Data governance
  • Data Mining and Analysis experience using SQL
  • Good understanding of Financial Markets, Retail Banking, Corporate and Institutional Banking, and Transaction Banking business
  • Good understanding of Big Data Ecosystems – SAP HANA DB Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with Finance teams and Data SMEs to understand data requirements and articulate with Business, Technology and Operations.
  • Engage with stakeholders to deliver solutions per planned timelines.
  • Gather requirements, create and own BRD/FSD, Functional, Interface & mapping specifications, workflows & TOM.
  • Support Product Owner from conception to post-implementation review with proper governance.
  • Track risks/issues with Scrum Master and coordinate with Dev/QA/Release/PMO teams.
  • Ensure delivery risks are identified and mitigated; drive agile delivery with SDLC stakeholders.
  • Lead progress with Dev & QA teams and monitor business requirements delivery.
  • Brainstorm and drive process improvements across projects and BAU.

Job description

  • Graduation in Finance / MBA / CA
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in Product Control / Finance / Change Management roles
