Overview

About this role: Senior Architect (AI/ML/Data) with experience architecting scalable, robust, and secure data and AI/ML solutions for enterprise environments. This role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and hands-on technical skills to drive innovation and deliver business value through advanced analytics and intelligent systems.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver client engagements that use AI rapidly, in a few weeks.
  • Build proofs of concept rapidly to learn and adapt to changing market needs.
  • Support building internal applications for use by associates to improve productivity.
  • Design, architect, and oversee the implementation of end-to-end AI/ML and data solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models, data pipelines, and analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical architectures.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks for data engineering, machine learning, and AI initiatives.
  • Guide and mentor data scientists, engineers, and other team members in best practices and technical excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop strategies for data acquisition, storage, processing, and visualization.
  • Optimize existing systems for performance, cost, and maintainability.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in AI, ML, data engineering, and cloud technologies.
  • Present architectural solutions and roadmaps to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
Qualifications

What you’ll need: 12-15 years of experience in classic AI techniques and at least 1.5 years in generative AI techniques at production level. Demonstrated ability to run short development cycles and solid grasp of building software in a collaborative team setting.

Must have
  • Experience building applications for knowledge search and summarization, frameworks to evaluate and compare performance of different GenAI techniques, measuring and improving accuracy and helpfulness of generative responses, implementing observability.
  • Design, architect, and oversee implementation of end-to-end AI/ML and data solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models, data pipelines, and analytics platforms.
  • Optimize existing systems for performance, cost, and maintainability.
  • Experience with agentic AI frameworks, RAG, embedding models, vector DBs.
  • Experience working with Python libraries like Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Numpy, and Scipy.
  • Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
  • Solid grasp of building software in a collaborative team setting - use of agile scrum and tools like Jira / GitHub.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
