Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced design and commissioning professional for IBMS, GSS and Fire Safety systems. The role covers post-sales support, system integration and end-to-end project delivery in large buildings.

The candidate will review project specs, prepare submittals, and coordinate with architects, clients and contractors. Strong documentation, teamwork and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BE: Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.
• Experience on IBMS, GSS & FDS.
• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in FAS, PA, Security, BMS & GSS installation and end-to-end commissioning.
• Time bound delivery of project deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Review technical specifications to understand project requirements.
• Prepare technical submittals and RFQ with suppliers.
• Prepare compliance documents and cost comparison.
• Technical competency in Fire alarm, CCTV, ACS, Intruder alarm, BMS and gaseous systems.
• Coordinate with Architects, Clients and Contractors at various stages.
• Demonstrate adherence to operational processes to drive efficiency.

What you will do

In this role, you will be part of Post Sales Design Support on IBMS & Gas Based Suppression system including Fire detection system.

How you will do it

• Review Technical specification of the projects to understand the project requirements.
• Preparation of technical submittal & Sending RFQ with supplier.
• Preparation of Compliance document and cost comparison.
• Technical competency of below systems
  • Fire alarm, Security systems like CCTV, ACS & Physical security, Intruder alarm system.
  • BMS for GA & Shop drawings.
  • Gaseous system (FM-200, CO2 & Inert gas)
• Co-ordination with the Architects, Clients and Contractors at various stages of the project
• Demonstrate adherence to operational process requirements to drive efficiency

What we look for

• BE: Electrical & Electronics or Equivalent.
• Experience on IBMS, GSS & FDS
• 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in FAS, PA, Security, BMS & GSS Installation and End to end project commissioning experience. Working experience in product testing domains
• Time bound delivery of project deliverables

  • Minimizing number of Engineering changes
