Job summary

DXC Technology Inc. seeks a senior software engineer with 13–18 years of experience to contribute to design, coding, testing, and debugging under supervision from senior team members. You will engage in cross-team collaboration, participate in code reviews, and help shape architecture.

You will also assist in documenting requirements, communicate effectively, resolve technical issues, and continuously adopt new practices and technologies to support project success.

Qualifications

• Strong SMART/400 Knowledge and DIARY/400 Knowledge.
• Life/400 or Group/400 knowledge, REST API, MSP is a must.
• Software designing, Technical leadership, Skilled with DB design, Performance Optimisation tools
• Contribute to software development projects by writing, testing, and debugging code, under the guidance of senior team members.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project objectives, actively participating in code reviews and design discussions.
• Assist in the documentation of software requirements and specifications, striving for clear and effective communication.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, seeking guidance and mentorship.
• Learn and adapt to software development practices and methodologies, actively participating in training programs.
• Contribute to the implementation of best practices and emerging technologies.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Relevant experience, 13 to 18 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
• Basic coding and debugging skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the field

Other Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related field is a plus
